About Japanese head spa
Caroline’s Japanese head spa is a slow, relaxing ritual for your scalp and hair. You lie back on a heated bed for a scalp cleanse and massage, finished with a waterfall rinse.
There are three rituals. No. 1 (45 minutes) takes in a jade eye mask, scalp oil with relaxing tools, scalp exfoliation, a shampoo with soothing massage, a nourishing hair and scalp mask, the feather tool experience, and a neck and shoulder massage with a waterfall rinse. No. 2 (60 minutes) adds a spa mist, and No. 3 (90 minutes) adds a facial with ice globes and jade stone.
Every ritual finishes with a rough blow dry or leave-in oil, and a massage or heated bed is optional. Caroline offers the head spa at our salon in the Old Methodist Church and from her home salon on the Marston Fields Estate — we’ll confirm where when you book.
